Your use of the Greater Trading website located at greatertrading.com and all associated services (“the Platform”) signifies that you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Greater Trading is a Canada-based company (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We provide tools to filter stocks by technical and fundamental criteria and to backtest indicator-based strategies using historical market data. We do not provide investment advice, trading recommendations, broker services, or financial planning services.
5. Account Registration and Security
Certain services are available only to registered users. By registering an account, you confirm your agreement to be legally bound by these Terms. You represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not barred from receiving services under the laws of Canada or any other applicable jurisdiction. You also agree to:
- Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself during registration.
- Maintain and promptly update your registration information to keep it accurate and current.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or account, or any other breach of security.
Greater Trading cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect this, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or data not intended for you.
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technology to access the Platform in a manner that exceeds normal usage or places undue burden on our infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, its servers, or connected networks.
- Reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, sell, or commercially exploit any data or content from the Platform without our express written permission.
- Make copies of any software or documentation provided by the Platform, including translating, decompiling, disassembling, or creating derivative works.
7. Ownership and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, all rights, titles, and interests in the Platform and all information made available through it — including but not limited to all copyrights, trademarks, design, code, features, and branding — are the exclusive property of Greater Trading or our data providers. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our express written permission.
8. Market Data and Accuracy
Market data displayed on the Platform is sourced from third-party data providers and is provided on an “as is” basis. Due to various factors — including the inherent possibility of human and mechanical error — the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and correct sequencing of information available through the Platform are not and cannot be guaranteed by Greater Trading. Data may be delayed, contain errors, or become stale due to stock splits, corporate actions, or provider outages. You should not rely solely on data from this Platform for any financial decision.
9. Disclaimer Regarding Investment Decisions
Decisions to buy, sell, hold, or trade in securities and other investments involve risk and are best made based on the advice of qualified financial professionals.

We are not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner. 10. Disclaimer Regarding Hypothetical Performance Results
The Platform provides tools to backtest indicator-based strategies using historical data. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. No representation is being made that any strategy will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading strategy in spite of trading losses are material points which can adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading strategy which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results, and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and all information, content, materials, and services made available to you are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Greater Trading makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Greater Trading does not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Platform is accessed at your own discretion and risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage or loss that results from such use.
12. Third-Party Sites and Services
The Platform may include links to third-party websites, including data providers and authentication services. These other websites are not subject to these Terms. We provide these links as a convenience and do not endorse the content or services offered by these other sites. We recommend that you review the terms and privacy policy of each third-party site you visit. Any dealings you have with third parties found on or through the Platform are solely between you and that third party, and you acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any loss or claim you may have against such third party.
13. User Content
Your saved screeners, watchlists, and indicator test configurations belong to you. We do not claim ownership of user-generated content. However, we may access, preserve, or disclose your content if required by law or if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with legal process, enforce these terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Greater Trading or others.
14. Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that Greater Trading and its operators, officers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if Greater Trading has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from:
- The use or inability to use the Platform;
- Any changes made to the Platform, or any temporary or permanent cessation of the Platform or any part thereof;
- The unauthorized access to or alteration of your data;
- The deletion of, corruption of, or failure to store your data on the Platform;
- Any trading or investment decisions made based on information obtained through the Platform;
- Statements or conduct of any third party on or through the Platform;
- And any other matter relating to the Platform.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Greater Trading and its operators, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another, or any action taken by Greater Trading as part of its investigation of a suspected violation of these Terms. This obligation shall survive the termination or expiration of your use of the Platform.
16. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. You agree that Greater Trading may, without prior notice, immediately terminate, limit your access to, or suspend your account. Cause for such termination, limitation, or suspension shall include, but not be limited to: (a) breaches or violations of these Terms, (b) requests by law enforcement or other government agencies, (c) discontinuance or material modification to the Platform, (d) unexpected technical or security issues, (e) extended periods of inactivity, and/or (f) engagement by you in fraudulent or illegal activities. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our
Privacy Policy.
17. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our
Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the laws of the Province of Ontario. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ontario, Canada.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Greater Trading regarding your use of the Platform, and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
